Our Story
For more than two decades, Adam Wedmore has served in leadership roles across emergency medical services, fire service, emergency management, higher education, and local government. From responding to emergencies as a firefighter, paramedic, and flight paramedic to directing large educational programs and serving as a county elected official, he has built a career focused on service, leadership, and organizational excellence.
Throughout that journey, one challenge has remained consistent: organizations are often asked to do more with fewer resources while maintaining the highest standards of service and accountability. Wedmore Consulting was created to help agencies navigate those challenges through strategic planning, operational improvement, workforce development, and leadership growth.

Adam Wedmore brings more than 23 years of leadership experience in emergency services, public administration, emergency management, and higher education. His background includes executive leadership in EMS and fire service education, emergency management planning, government administration, workforce development, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
He has led major training initiatives, developed regional training facilities, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, secured grant funding, authored policies and procedures, and helped organizations improve effectiveness while maintaining a focus on service excellence.
His unique combination of executive leadership, operational experience, public speaking, and educational expertise allows him to provide practical guidance that helps organizations strengthen performance, develop leaders, and achieve lasting results.
